bragging rights

Since the start of the fourth grade Courtney has been receiving "real letter" grades, not the 1's 2's and 3's she got from kindergarten through third grade. With this current report card, there have been 10 grading periods, and she has been on the honor roll all 10 times. She has worked very hard, and Jeff and I could not be more proud of her. As we have explained to Courtney...it's not the final grade that counts, it's the effort she puts into it. As long as she tries her best, we will always be pleased with the outcome, and help her however we can along the way. It was wonderful to see the look of accomplishment on her face when she came through the door and announced "I did it again, Mommy!" Those are words I will treasure.
